Two electrocuted
Two persons were killed after they came into contact with an electric fence at Araveeti Kota village of Racharla mandal in Prakasam district in the wee hours of Thursday. According to sources, Rasool (28), Ranganayakulu (21) along with five others went to a nearby farm for hunting down wild rabbits on Wednesday late night.

According to sources, Rasool (28), Ranganayakulu (21) along with five others went to a nearby farm for hunting down wild rabbits on Wednesday late night.
The tragedy occurred when Rasool reportedly came in contact with the electric fence which was installed in the field to protect the crop from animals, while chasing down a rabbit. Meanwhile, Ranganayakulu who was unaware of the electric fence tried to help his friend Rasool, but he too was electrocuted. The rest of the hunting party returned to the village and informed the locals. Racharla police registered a case and took up investigation.
