Farmer commits suicide in Medak dist, second in two days

With another farmer committing suicide in Medak district, it is the second suicide for the second consecutive day.

Chintala Satyanarayana was a farmer who cultivated maize and cotton in about three aces but due to lack of rains and crop loss, he lost heavily. Satyanarayana was also reportedly having about Rs. 3 lakh debt which is the reason he allegedly committed suicide at by hanging himself in the wee hours of Monday in Medak town.

While his body has been shifted to a government hospital, police have registered a case and investigation has begun. On Sunday, Mallesh of Ramsagar village in Daultabad mandal had committed suicide.
