Boy dies of swine flu

A three-year-old boy, B Jani Prasad died of swine flu at MGM Hospital on Friday.The boy, belonging to Kannegondla village of Dornakal mandal, was admitted with high fever and breathing problems at MGMH on September 22.

The boy, belonging to Kannegondla village of Dornakal mandal, was admitted with high fever and breathing problems at MGMH on September 22.
His parents, B Shanker and Nagamani said that they first took their son to Khammam government hospital where he was not treated well.
Then he was admitted to MGMH in Warangal, where he died in the early hours.
The hospital authorities informed that the blood samples collected from the boy have confirmed presence of swine flu virus in the boy.
