Debts drove a couple to end life after poisoning their two children to death under Jeedimetla police station limits in Cyberabad on Tuesday.

Hyderabad: Debts drove a couple to end life after poisoning their two children to death under Jeedimetla police station limits in Cyberabad on Tuesday.
The incident occurred in Indrajeet Nagar. The deceased Nalla Keshava Rao (36) and his wife Vanaja (32) hanged themselves after poisoning their children Deepak (5) and Nandini (3).
On Tuesday, neighbors of the deceased couple identified the bodies hanging and informed the police. The Jeedimelta police rushed to the spot and sent the bodies for autopsy. The couple might have taken the extreme step on Monday midnight.
During preliminary investigation, it was revealed that the couple migrated to the city from Kolkata about 12 years ago for livelihood and was into private finance business.
Some years ago, their business incurred a huge loss and they started selling eatables in their vicinity, which also left them with losses, the Jeeditmetla police said.A suicide note was recovered from the house of the deceased.
