Hyderabad: Trimulgherry police on Tuesday registered a case against a dermatologist for allegedly sexually exploiting a girl student on Monday.

According to police, a girl student, resident of Lalbazaar, went to Geeta Nursing Home for consultation. The doctor had allegedly given her an injection upon which she slipped into semi-conscious state. The doctor claimed that the injection was intended to “test the reaction of the body.”

Taking advantage of the situation, the doctor allegedly physically exploited the girl. After regaining conscious, she called her friend and asked him to come to her rescue.

When her friend came to the clinic, he found the girl sitting in a chair in “cataleptic state” and her mobile phone lying on the floor. When questioned, the doctor told the girl’s friend that she had slipped into semi-conscious state on being given injection,

the police said. Later, she was taken to Yashodha hospital in Secunderabad for treatment and basing on the complaint given by the girl’s family members, the Trimulgherry police booked a case under section 354 B of IPC (Assault or use of Criminal force to a woman).
