Man slits throat of brother’s wife, commits suicide. A man, who sought sexual favour from his brother’s wife, slit her throat after she rejected his advances and later committed suicide in Musidipalli village of S Kota mandal in Vizianagaram district on Sunday.
Vizianagaram: A man, who sought sexual favour from his brother’s wife, slit her throat after she rejected his advances and later committed suicide in Musidipalli village of S Kota mandal in Vizianagaram district on Sunday. According to SI of S Kota Mandal B Sagar Babu, P Babu Rao of Musidipalli village tried to develop illicit affair with Kripa, wife of his younger brother Lakshmana Rao.

He was harassing her for sexual favours but she consistently refused and also warned him to maintain distance with her. When Babu Rao did not listen, she informed the matter to her parents. Babu Rao continued to harass her even after her complaint to elders and consequently, she complained to police and a case was registered against him.
Fear of the cases or rage for refusal, Babu Rao slit Kripa’s throat on Sunday and supposing her to be dead; he slit his hands and throat with a blade and was dead due to heavy bleeding. Kripa was rushed to MR Hospital at Vizianagaram and later was shifted to KG Hospital for better treatment. Doctors declared her condition as serious.
