Kalisetti Manmadha Rao, who raised crops in 10 acres of land, incurred losses in the last two years due to deficient rainfall and Phailin and Hudhud cylones.

In order to cultivate the 10 acres of land, the farmer secured loans from money lenders.

Anguished at not finding any sources to repay the debts and mounting pressure for repayment, he committed suicide in his house on Saturday morning.
