Popular yesteryear actor Ranganath on Saturday allegedly committed suicide at his residence in Hyderabad by hanging himself.
Reports said that he was feeling lonely and was under some kind of depression after his wife passed away a few years ago. A word 'destiny' was said to be written in his kitchen room, according to police. It is also learnt that all Ranganath's savings would now go to his maid who has been serving his family from several years. The actor reportedly wrote it on the wall of his house.
Ranganath's son Nagendra Kumar said that he will fulfil his father's last wish and give all his savings to his maid. A week before his death, he met Telangana minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav requesting him to sanction a double bedroom house for a poor family.
