Police arrest 5 for fake Steel Plant passes
The Steel Plant police arrested five persons, three of whom were in possession of fake passes and gained entry into the Steel Plant and the other two for fabrication of these passes. They were identified as Dukka Ramu, Ramesh (Jagadalpur), Guntu Tulasi Das, Neelapu Pentayya Reddy and Landa Sai Viswa Teja, Sai Communications, Siddeswaram RH Colony.
Visakhapatnam: The Steel Plant police arrested five persons, three of whom were in possession of fake passes and gained entry into the Steel Plant and the other two for fabrication of these passes. They were identified as Dukka Ramu, Ramesh (Jagadalpur), Guntu Tulasi Das, Neelapu Pentayya Reddy and Landa Sai Viswa Teja, Sai Communications, Siddeswaram RH Colony.
The police on Thursday said the CISF personnel arrested Dukka Ramu, Ramesh and Guntu Tulasi Das for possession fake passes. The trio had plans to steal some precious metals from the plant premises after gaining entry. The CISF personnel handed them over to the police on April 12.
On questioning, the trio admitted to have obtained these passes from N Pentayya Reddy, a small labour contractor. He was arrested on Thursday.
On interrogation, Reddy told the police that the fake passes were fabricated and supplied to him by Landa Sai Viswa Teja, who runs an internet centre in Peda Gantyada.He, too, was taken into custody and the equipment used for fabricating passes, was also seized.
