Woman’s body found hanging

The body of a burnt woman was found hanging from a tree near a lake in Thallisingram village of Chotuppal Mandal in the district on Tuesday. Her body was burnt by pouring acid. On receiving information from the villagers of Chouttuppal, Sub-Inspector of Police Haribabu rushed to the spot and examined the dead body.

Police have come to the conclusion that the woman was first murdered and doused with acid later. The Choutuppal Police (Rural) registered a case and took up an investigation.
