Hyderabad: Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) officials on Tuesday arrested the Village Revenue Officer (VRO) of Pedda Adirala village under Jadcharala mandal in Mahbubnagar district on the charge of demanding and accepting bribe.
In a media release, the ACB informed that the VRO K Kashinath was trapped at the Jadcharala MRO office when he was demanding Rs 3,000 from the complainant to process and deliver his Pattadar Passbook and the title deeds of the land. The complainant M Janki Ramulu approached the ACB as the officer demanded bribe. The arrested VRO will be produced before the ACB court in Hyderabad.
