Woman peddles fake certificates, lands behind bars

A woman from SR Nagar was arrested by the West Zone Task Force police for preparing fake educational certificates and selling them to “needy” persons. The police seized 33 fake certificates, one computer, a mobile phone and Rs 10,200 in cash from the accused.

On credible information, the sleuths of Task Force raided a flat at Nandi Villa apartments in SR Nagar, where they found one Tatapudi Nagamouli (42), who was running EDP Technologies, an educational consultancy.
A thorough verification revealed that the woman was making fake certificates. Task Force DCP B Limba Reddy said that the accused woman, a native of Kakinada in Andhra Pradesh, had migrated to Hyderabad in 2005 along with husband and two sons.
