Bus knocks down pvt employee
In a gruesome accident, a private employee from KPHB was mowed down by a speeding school bus at Madhapur on Monday.
Hyderabad: In a gruesome accident, a private employee from KPHB was mowed down by a speeding school bus at Madhapur on Monday.
The helmet worn by the victim broke and his head got crushed under the rear tyres of the bus, said police. The deceased identified as G Venkanna (49) is a native of Warangal and was working in a company at Bachupally.
The accident took place when he was going towards KPHB, where he resides, from Gachibowli. The speeding school bus belonging to Chirec Public School hit him from rear.
Police registered a case against the bus driver and took him into custody for questioning. The body of the deceased was handed over to his family after autopsy. The victim is survived by a wife and three children, the police added.
