Chintala Nagaraju (20) of Inagali village under Yerrupalem mandal and Nandyala Parameswar Reddy (21) of Munagapadu village under G Kondur mandal in Krishna district along with two more friends went to NSP canal near Tekulapalli in the city. When they were taking selfies with their mobiles, Nagaraju and Parameswar fell in the canal.
Both the students are in their final year of B Tech Agriculture in Vijaya Engineering College. They were residing in a private hostel near canal.
The police launched a search for the students. II Town inspector Raji Reddy passed the information to the parents of students and hostel warden.
