Youth harasses woman, lands in police net
The city police on Tuesday arrested a 25-year-old man for harassing a woman posting some photographs online and for threatening to post certain videos if she had refused to marry him. The arrested person has been identified as K Sandeep, 25, a resident of Ramnagar.
​Hyderabad: The city police on Tuesday arrested a 25-year-old man for harassing a woman posting some photographs online and for threatening to post certain videos if she had refused to marry him. The arrested person has been identified as K Sandeep, 25, a resident of Ramnagar.
The police said the accused was previously married but got separated with his wife. He has been moving closely with an engineering student for a year without disclosing her that he was already married.
During the period, he took some photographs with the engineering student when they were very close. He also shot some videos. In the meantime, the girl came to know that Sandeep was cheating him and refused to see him, the police said.
Further, the girl's parents fixed her marriage with another person. Sandeep was enraged over this and demanded that the girl marry him. As she refused, Sandeep posted the photographs of their good times on Facebook. He also threatened her with posting the videos on Youtube, the police said.
The girl approached Cyber Crime sleuths and lodged a complaint. Based on the complaint, police registered a case and arrested the accused.
