Hyderabad: The City Police on Wednesday questioned Congress leader Vikram Goud in connection with the self staged 'attempt to murder' case.

Vikram Goud, who is lodged at Chanchalguda Jail since his arrest on August 3, was taken into police custody and interrogated from 10 AM to 3.30 PM today.

It may be mentioned that Vikram Goud, the son of former minister Mukesh Goud, was arrested for planning a bid on his own life to gain sympathy and escape creditors. He had sustained two bullet injuries in the attempt and still recovering from injuries.

Five other persons - S Nanda Kumar, Shaik Ahmed, Raees Khan, K Babujan and A Govind Reddy, who were hired by Vikram to execute the planned attempt on his life were also arrested by the police.
