A Rohingya couple from Myanmar staying in a refugee camp in Balapur was attacked with sharp weapons during the early morning hours on Tuesday. They were rushed to Osmania General Hospital for treatment after they received multiple injuries on the upper part of their bodies.
Hyderabad: A Rohingya couple from Myanmar staying in a refugee camp in Balapur was attacked with sharp weapons during the early morning hours on Tuesday. They were rushed to Osmania General Hospital for treatment after they received multiple injuries on the upper part of their bodies.
According to police, it was dacoity gang which attacked Maulana Zahid Hussain and his wife Khatija at 4 am in the morning. Both the husband and wife received deep wounds. While the man was stabbed in the chest, the woman was stabbed from behind. The police registered a case and began investigation.
