An eighth-class student of Social Welfare Residential School in the town has allegedly committed suicide by consuming poison and died while being treated at government hospital on Tuesday.
Mahabubabad: An eighth-class student of Social Welfare Residential School in the town has allegedly committed suicide by consuming poison and died while being treated at government hospital on Tuesday.
The deceased student was identified as K Sravanthi (13), daughter of K Srinivas of Mahabubabad town. According to the School Principal Amrutha, the student had collapsed suddenly and vomited blood during morning drill at the school.
It was said that the student had stolen some cash from the school’s physical education teacher (PET) on Sunday night and feared being labelled as thief and hence took the extreme step.
