In a tragic road accident, as many as five students were killed when the auto they were travelling in collided with an RTC bus at Repudi village of Firangipuram mandal in Guntur district on Thursday morning.
Guntur: In a tragic road accident, as many as five students were killed when the auto they were travelling in collided with an RTC bus at Repudi village of Firangipuram mandal in Guntur district on Thursday morning.
Three other students in the auto were severely injured and are stated to be in critical condition. According to the police, the victims were identified as Renuka, Gayatri, Saiaja and auto driver Dhanaraj were killed on the spot while Karthik Reddy succumbed to his injuries on the way to hospital.
The injured students Bhanu, Sirisha and Vaishnavi are undergoing treatment in a private hospital in Guntur. The police registered a case against the bus driver and launched investigation.
