Man in an inebriated condition hacks wife to death in Telangana

A woman was hacked to death by her husband, who was in an inebriated condition in Asifabad district on Tuesday.

The man, Laxmaiah from Ippalaguda village in Bejjur Mandal picked up an argument with his wife Raju Bai over some petty issue when he was in an intoxicated condition.

In a fit of rage, he hacked her to death with an axe. From profusely bleeding due to the injuries, she died on the spot.

Based on a complaint from family members of the victim, a case was registered against the accused. Police have taken up the investigation.
