Attempt to murder accused held
Nellore: Fifth town police arrested the accused in attempt to murder case in BV Nagar in the city on November 2. According to the Circle Inspector K Narasimha Rao, Santhosh Kumar and Jindal migrated from Rajasthan to Nellore ten years ago for livelihood and they were taking up marble laying works. They have been residing in Anagunta area. On November 2, they visited a pani-puri shop located in BV Nagar. Jameer from Gandhi Nagar and Ashok from Kondayapalem were also having pani-puris there. Ashok had thrown a waste paper plate on Santhosh Kumar and there was a dispute between the two groups. 

Infuriated Jameer attacked and stabbed both Santhosh and Jindal mercilessly and Ashok also attacked Jindal and stabbed him with a knife and both escaped from the place. Vedayapalem police caught the accused Jameer and Ashok on Monday at Bujabuja Nellore and recovered knife used for attacking the victims and also Yamaha bike from them. Murder and attempt to murder cases were booked against them in Venkatachalam and 5th town police stations, the CI said.
