cmMahbubnagar: Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy accused Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) President and local Parliament member K Chandrasekhar Rao of giving priority to anti-people programmes. Addressing the people after inaugurating the 'Revenue Sadassu' at Mandavalli village in Dhanvada mandal of Mahbubnagar district on Tuesday, the Chief Minister mounted a scathing attack on the TRS supremo and YSR Congress Party. The Chief Minister alleged that Chandrasekhar was not co-operating in development of the district and said the people would teach persons who obstruct development a fitting lesson. "After becoming Chief Minister I came to the district seven times. How many times did Chandrasekhar Rao come here after getting elected as MP? I am not afraid of anybody. I will fulfill all the promises made by the party during the last elections," he asserted. A Kiran Kumar Reddy alleged that the TRS along with YSR Congress Party were hatching a conspiracy to bring down his government. He expressed confidence that they would not succeed and he would continue in power until the next elections scheduled for 2014. He exuded confidence that the Congress would repeat its performance of Co-operative elections in the forthcoming local bodies' elections also. He dismissed the proposed no-confidence motion of TRS as of no consequence and asserted that the Budget to be introduced on March 18 would focus on providing food security to the people of the State. He promised to develop the district in education also. The Chief Minister said most of disputes in the villages were land centric and the revenue officials would solve them at the village level during the Revenue Sadassu. He said the Revenue Sadassu were being organized in 28,150 revenue villages in the state. He said that the government received 6. 82 lakh petitions in Revenue Sadassulu all over the State and 99 percent of them were resolved. He said he would solve problems that were brought to his notice within 90 days. Ministers Raghuveera Reddy, Uttam Kumar Reddy, D K Aruna and several MLAs from the district participated in the programme.
