ysrcpEluru: Promient journalist and the media coordinator of YSR Congress Party BV Ramana (41) died of massive heart attack on Thursday midnight. Ramana who worked for Vaartha, Andhra Jyothi and Helapuri News in the past was actively involved in the YSRCP activities as media coordinator for the past several months. Ramana was active till the last moment. He participated in several party programmes till Thursday night. Ramana is survived by wife and two daughters. Immediately after hearing the sad news, District Public Relations Officer RVS Ramachandra Rao, APWJ working committee member GVSN Raju, District APWJ president G Raghuram and other journalist fraternity and politicians rushed to his residence and offered condolences to the bereaved family members. Eluru legislator Alla Nani and the district YSRCP convener Koyye Moshen Raju expressing shock at the sudden demise of active party leader assured all help to the family. District ministers Vatti Vasantha Kumar and Pithani Satyanarayana expressed shock at the death. Vatti said the district has lost an able leader. Tanuku MLA Karumuri Venkata Nageswara Rao, District Collector Dr Vanimohan, Joint Collector Dr T Baburao Naidu among others offered their condolences to the bereaved family members.
