Old students felicitate teacher after 50 years

Eluru: Seventh Form (now Intermediate) students (1963 batch) of the then Municipal Higher Secondary School (now Government Degree College, Eluru) have felicitated their teacher after 50 years. About 30 old students who gathered here honoured their teacher Devarakonda Visweswara Rao (92). Speaking on the occasion, Rao lamented at the waning discipline in the new generation students. Felicitation Committee convenor Jonnalagadda Srihari informed that they had contributed Rs 65,000 for renovation of four classrooms of the school.
