Hyderabad: The entire nation is in grief. We all are in a state of shock following the macabre killing of 40 CRPF brave-hearts in Pulwama on February 14.
People from various walks of life have been rendering their bit to provide succour to the bereaved families. Moved by the plight, the largest Party and Playtown for kids in Hyderabad rose to the task by involving children in a fund-raising event the proceeds of which would be donated to the families of the troopers, who were killed mercilessly by inhuman terrorists.

‘Sim and Sam’s’ organises “Play For CRPF”, which is a charity activity in their Kompally and Pocharam branches. The first of them was held in Kompally branch from 4pm to 9pm on Saturday. It was a resounding success as the response from children aged up to 12 years was enthusiastic and hugely encouraging

Sim and Sam’s provide an ambience and interactive games that are fully secure and safe. The management is conscious that one can be healthy with and without gadgets and they take extra precautions to make sure that children do not face any gadget radiation problems.

Kids, encouraged by parents, guardians and elders, and carrying placards with messages like ‘Salute Jawan’ and ‘We are with you Soldier’ made for lively participation as did their excitement at their respective Playtown.

All the two-hour fun and frolic coming at Rs 400 was worth the effort considering that they were participating in a very noble mission besides learning about the hardships faced by soldiers in the line of national duty.

According to Sumit Ahuja, Managing Director, Sim and Sam’s, “We have always given top priority to families at Sim and Sam’s. The least that we all can do is to be worthy of the sacrifices they make to ensure our safety. Building a nation of happy people starts with a happy and healthy childhood, which we are trying to accomplish. You will definitely notice a smile on the faces of kids at play and nothing can be more rewarding than that”.
