VIT-AP University celebrated International Women’s Day by felicitating women for their accomplishments. VIT-AP University also stands for balance for better with 25 per cent working women in staff and faculty.
While addressing the gathering on this occasion K Damayanthi, IAS, Principal secretary, Higher Education Department, Govt. of AP enlightened the spirits of young women for the best to balance for better. She also expressed that for a better tomorrow balance is essential and hence it’s not the government alone the institutions and individuals in the society to take part from empowering of women to balance for better. She gave a call to the men to respect and protect women rights.
