Polytechnic Degree Holders Eligible For Constable Jobs In AP

Andhra Pradesh Administration Tribunal has given a direction to the state government to consider the polytechnic diploma holders to the post of constable post in the police department.

Challenging the state government's decision to allow Intermediate degree holders are only eligible, an eight member youth from Vizianagaram approached the Tribunal requesting the diploma holders are also allowed to appear the exam.

The Tribunal asked the State Home Secretary, State Level police recruitment chairman, DGP and East Godavari district SP and Collector to file a counter . Next hearing on the whole issue was posted in four weeks.
