Forest Department to announce 2,500 jobs

Hyderabad: Of late, after so many misfortunes, the state government has now realized to safeguard the forests under its jurisdiction. It has all been set to increase patrols by two folds in the forest sector.

The state government has planned to reduce the areas of beat zones; and to reorganize the zones, an estimated number of 1,674 zones have been planned. There will be almost 2,500 new posts with this increased number of zones. As many as 1,674 posts of Forest Beat Officers alone will be newly created. It is learnt that the task of detailed sketch is likely to be bestowed upon JNTU by the forest department.
