In a investor meet last week executive chairman of Infosys N R Murthy announced that Infosys is in the process of hiring anywhere between 250-350 graduates from B-schools as well as undergraduate schools in the US, Europe, Australia and from some business schools in India.
18 people have accepted from business schools in India. Infosys is expanding its sales team on a rapid pace. This step is being taken to increase the sales effectiveness.
Infosys' changed focus on sales comes at a time when the company is trying to push growth after lagging its peers for the last three years.
The company has also created many new small units to bring better growth. The company has also hired a well-known group to evaluate its proposal quality.
