Inter Supplementary Exams Conclude. The Advanced Supplementary Examinations of Intermediate have concluded on Tuesday.

Valuation in respective states

Hyderabad: The Advanced Supplementary Examinations of Intermediate have concluded on Tuesday. Mathematics, history and zoology were held on the last day for both first and second year Intermediate students. These exams were scheduled to be held on May 29, but a ‘bandh’ call on that day forced deferment.

Nine per cent of first year inter students and 8.5 per cent of second year inter students who registered for the exam failed to turn up on the last day. Two malpractice cases were booked.

The board has made plans for valuation of papers in the respective states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The demand has been there for quite some time but it was not implemented before bifurcation. Answer papers will be jumbled among the districts within the region, an official said.

Officials made it clear that though the valuation of papers will be done in respective states, the announcement of results will be common and at Hyderabad for this year. Results are likely in three weeks time, an official said.

With the completion of Intermediate examinations, students can get a chance to participate in the first round of engineering counseling itself. The EAMCET results are expected on June 9.

The Inter Board has now the major task of releasing the list of students of top 20 percentile of marks for JEE Main and Advanced ranks.
