Students rally against drug abuse

Students Rally Against Drug Abuse. Kendriya Vidyalaya, GPRA Campus, Gachibowli, Hyderabad marked the ‘International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking’ by carrying out a rally in GPRA campus.
Hyderabad: Kendriya Vidyalaya, GPRA Campus, Gachibowli, Hyderabad marked the ‘International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking’ by carrying out a rally in GPRA campus. The procession was flagged off by S Sambanna, asst. commissioner, Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, Hyderabad Region headed by principal P S Raju along with a special team of Narcotic Control Bureau lead by Dinesh Chauhan, superintendent and G Ramesh, intelligence officer, and staff members from NCB.
Around 400 students and staff members participated in this awareness rally and went up to IIIT junction at Gachibowli. The students raised slogans against the use of drugs and its illicit trafficking. Teachers and students distributed informative pamphlets to the public. In the closing ceremony, S Sambanna distributed prizes to the winners in drawing competition and in essay writing competition organised for various class students.
