Telangana, Andhra Pradesh Technical Colleges To Have 15% NRI Seats. The existing 5% quota of seats for NRIs in the Technical colleges of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh state is likely to be increased to 15%. It is only the formal orders that are set to be issued by the two governments.

Hyderabad: The existing 5% quota of seats for NRIs in the Technical colleges of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh state is likely to be increased to 15%. It is only the formal orders that are set to be issued by the two governments.
According to sources, concerned government officials of Telangana held meetings with college managements and agreed to the 15 percent increase in the NRI quota seats. Also, Andhra Pradesh government officials too held talks with college managements and accepted their demand of increase in the quota. Formal orders will be issue in a couple of days, added sources.
