Cloud Collaborate: From ‘Wannapreneur’ to Entrepreneur, The Entrepreneurship School (TES), launched the ‘Wannapreneur to Entrepreneur’ mentoring programme for upcoming startups.

The Entrepreneurship School (TES), launched the ‘Wannapreneur to Entrepreneur’ mentoring programme for upcoming startups. It is a three-month development programme for entrepreneurs and startups, where the selected startups will be provided with infrastructure support, knowledge and expertise that they need to make good business decisions on their own, free of cost. Some of the selected ventures will receive funding support of upto Rs 10 lakh from TES. The selected startup teams have come up with ideas like:

Cloud Collaborate: Cloud Collaborate is being conceived as a cloud based collaboration software for multi-location teams, which integrates productivity tools, emails, file sharing platforms and social media at one place.
StayUncle.co.in: Stay Uncle is a shared economy venture, where hotel rooms vacated for unused portion of the day is rented out to other travelers.
Greenboard.co: Green board is an online platform for facilitating academic discussions among teachers, learners and content publishers, providing analytics for marketers.
Figo Style: Figo Style is a fashion accessories business
Saathcare: Saathcare is into consultation business for married couples and provides workshops and counselling sessions.
Reader’s Door: It is a recommendation engine which understands the reading style and helps its user find a book from the millions of books as per their current mood and the time to read.

The selection process involved taking the Entrepreneurship Quotient Test developed by TES followed by presentation of ideas to selection panel. The Entrepreneurship School is currently supporting eight start-ups in IT, commerce, telecom, fashion, travel, healthcare, water and education. Members of The Entrepreneurship School advisory board include some luminaries from the academic world.
