At last, the decks have been cleared for EAMCET counseling as the Supreme Court directed both Andhra Pradesh and Telangana Government to go ahead with the process. The apex court directed that the process should be completed by August 31st and classes must be commenced in the first week of September. The Supreme Court ordered the admission and counseling should be conducted as per the schedule, announced by Andhra Pradesh Higher Education Council. And also courts made it clear that admissions should be done under the provisions laid down in the united state.

The Supreme Court told the both states, not to politicize the issue anymore. It commented that the bifurcation is a political decision and the students should not be affected with it. The court opined that extending the date for counseling will lead to more issues.

The attorney of Telangana, Harish Salve agreed with the court’s direction. The case has been adjourned to next Monday. Meanwhile, the Telangana government is contemplating on this issue, soon after the outcome of the case. MP of the sate Vinod Kumar said that they would look into the matter after receiving the orders. He ruled out that, AP Government had an upper hand over the issue. He added ensured that all the students of Telangana would get benefited.

There was a scuffle between the two states over the EAMCET counseling. AP Government has initiated the process by announcing the dates, while T-Government was demanding that the counseling date should be extended to October.

The final orders on this directive will be issued on 11th of this month. On the other hand, the Supreme Court adjourned the implead petition filed by Andhra Pradesh.
