Nadergul: Sixteen students of Anantha Lakshmi Rama Rao (ALRR) Junior College Nadergul have acquired employability skills.
This is the first time in the state that any Junior College with a general stream was producing employable youth at Intermediate level said Dr. P. Madhava Rao, the secretary and correspondent of ALRR Junior College Nadergul here today.
Their college is not a vocational Junior College, but a general one, however, they have promised to develop employability skills of the students simultaneously with general intermediate education through developing communication and computer operation skills Dr. Rao added.
The ALRR Junior College has been established with definite purpose of producing talented youth that can be utilized in academia, business, and industry once they graduated at intermediate level clarifies Dr. Rao.
Today’s job market is very competitive and so is higher education market. Students with small means are not able to continue their higher education due to many economic and social reasons, and particularly the girl students. Neither are they finding employment that suits their qualification.
Therefore, the college has taken a policy decision to simultaneously develop communication, English language, and computer skills among their students so that they can get any type of employment if not going for higher studies. Dr. Rao explained.
While suggesting the adolescent girls to acquire additional employability skills, Dr. Rao invited companies, and industries to conduct campus selections in ALRR Junior College campus for assistants, junior managers, accountants, receptionists, sales persons, data entry operators.
The recruiters will go with a happy selection he guaranteed.ALRR Junior College is Junior college established by a team of internationally acclaimed professionals in 2012 and is constantly progressing with innovative ideas at intermediate level.
