Telangana State Public Service Commission soon, TSPSC Chairman Ganta Chakrapani. Telanagana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao has finally given the nod to formation of State Public Service Commission.
Hyderabad: Telanagana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao has finally given the nod to formation of State Public Service Commission. Telangana state Public service commission will act as a constitutional body for job recruitment at all levels in the State administration
Ganta Chakrapani who was an academician and professor at BR Ambedkar University, was appointed as TSPSC chairman.
After a series of meetings, seal of approval was given finally by the Chief Minister. The file is currently being sent to the Governor. Late on Wednesday night, chief secretary Rajiv Sharma issued a notification constituting the Commission.
Telangana Gazetted Officers’ Association president C. Vittal, former MLA Dr Chandravathi and social activist Mohamad Matin-uddin Quadri are the members appointed to the Commission. As per rules, the 10-member Commission should have at least 50 per cent of its members from the services. previously, the Governor had rejected five names sent by the CM stating that professors and advocates cannot be considered as members from the service category.
