Mancherial (Adilabad): Members of the Kaloji Swachhanda Seva Samithi on Friday donated the Mahabharata, the Ramayana and the Bhagavatham written in Braille to students at the school for the blind here.

Notebooks and cricket kits were also distributed to the students. RDO Ayesha Masrat Khanam handed over the books and play kits to the blind students. Members of the Samithi also provided lunch to the students.

Speaking on the occasion, the RDO hailed the service activities being taken up by the youth representing the Samithi. She called upon them to continue to take up more such service activities.

She said measures would be taken to see that government land was allocated for the school of the blind. Kaloji Swachhanda Seva Samithi members Raj Kumar, Ravi, Asok, Devender, Jayakar, Srinivas and Krishna were present.
