Students donate prize money as charity, The principal and faculty members congratulated the prize winners and lauded their gesture of donating half of the prize money for charity.

24 BBM students of PB Siddhartha College of Arts and Science won seven cash prizes worth Rs 12,000 in formal and non-formal events which were conducted as part of the management festival at Aditya Global Business School at Surampalem on Saturday.

In a statement on Monday, college principal MVN Padma Rao said, “Mukesh Jain and Kritika Agarwal won the first prize of Rs 2,000 in the business quiz, while Tarun Parmar and Shweta Bhandari got the second prize of Rs 1,000 in the same event. In finance, Nishant Haran won the first prize of Rs 2,000. Ranjeet, who was adjudged the Young CEO, got a cash prize of Rs 5,000. Mukesh, Nishant, Tarun, Jayesh, Kalpesh and Rishabh won the first prize in mime. In dance contest, Rahul, Bhavin, Mayur, Shweta, Vasanthi, Spandana, Priyanka and Jeenal secured the second prize. In marketing, Rishabh, Jayesh, Riya and Yogitha won the first prize of Rs 2,000. The students donated a sum of Rs 6,000 from their prize money to poor students.”

The principal and faculty members congratulated the prize winners and lauded their gesture of donating half of the prize money for charity.
