A programme designed to enhance the participant’s ability to face current and future challenges of management and business administration was initiated by Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Calcutta on Wednesday. IIM Calcutta announced the launch of Executive Programme for Young Managers (EPYM) in tie-up with Hughes Global Education India Ltd (HGEIL).

A programme designed to enhance the participant’s ability to face current and future challenges of management and business administration was initiated by Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Calcutta on Wednesday. IIM Calcutta announced the launch of Executive Programme for Young Managers (EPYM) in tie-up with Hughes Global Education India Ltd (HGEIL).

This programme offers working executives an integrated overview of core business functions, key concepts, tools, and techniques, and enhances skills required to do well in respective functional areas. The unique Hughes Interactive Onsite Learning Platform, offered by HGEIL, provides a live, interactive capability where participants in any part of the country can listen and discuss questions directly with IIM Calcutta faculty members, cutting across geographical constraints.

Speaking at the launch, Prof Ramendra Singh, Programme Director EPYM, IIM Calcutta said, “With such a large young work force, India will play a bigger role in global employment standards in the coming times. EPYM programme is designed to provide both perspective and managerial skills to successfully meet the challenges of today’s global working environment.”

Partho Banerjee, President and Managing Director of Hughes Communications India Ltd (HCIL), parent company of HGEIL, said, “We are glad to see our partner institutions have leveraged the pan-India expanse of the Hughes Interactive Onsite Learning platform to reach out to their candidates across the country to help them improve, enhance and hone their skill-set.”

Eligibility

  • Applicants should be working professionals/self-employed;
  • Applicants should have 1 to 5 years of work experience (full time paid employment) post completion of graduation as on Application Closure date;
  • Graduates (10+2+3) / post-graduates in any discipline with minimum 50 per cent marks recognized by UGC/AICTE
