The Telangana State Government has banned the state’s private schools from using textbooks of their choice and setting up their own syllabus. Hence from now onwards, there would be no fancy syllabus such as techno or international curriculum involved in private schools.

The Telangana State Government has banned the state’s private schools from using textbooks of their choice and setting up their own syllabus. Hence from now onwards, there would be no fancy syllabus such as techno or international curriculum involved in private schools.


Notices have been sent to all the private schools from the government that only government printed text books need to be utilized for the academic curriculum.


Private schools have been utilizing the integrated curriculum to claim higher standard education. Since all the exams except Class X public exams are held at school level, the private schools reason out that the state-prescribed syllabus is low in standard and thus are combining other boards’ syllabus into theirs. Private schools even ignore the question papers sent by the SSC Board for the quarterly, half-yearly and final exams for all classes.


However, the private schools are banned from utilizing any other syllabus except the one provided by the government.
