The Digital Transformation Curriculum: Training for corporate employees
Digital technologies are impacting every single company and business area. With the new Digital Transformation Curriculum (see figure), iversity offers companies a scalable training solution for staff from all areas of expertise. Topics covered include knowledge about Industry 4.0, Digital Marketing and Innovation Management, but also soft skills such as Presentation Techniques and Networking. This line of online courses will be rolled out over the course of this year.
iversity CEO, Hannes Klöpper, explains the the new content strategy behind this course portfolio: “Corporations face two challenges related to the digital change. Their staff needs to both understand how technology changes their business field as well as learn to independently develop change management processes. The Digital Transformation Curriculum achieves both - not only imparting knowledge, but also providing competences to actively shape the digital transition.”
Klöckner & Co.: New corporate client of iversity
Klöckner & Co SE is a pioneer in digitising the delivery chain in the steel industry, and one of the first clients of iversity’s new product line iversity for Business. Using digital solutions, the international steel trader is able to collaborate closely with more clients and suppliers. The company’s objective is to build an industry-wide platform that is also open to competitors.
On behalf of Klöckner and in cooperation with the Berlin School of Digital Business, iversity now produces an online course about the digital transformation in companies that will be offered to all Klöckner employees. Participants will intensely study subject areas like Big Data, cloud technologies and agile methods of project management such as Design Thinking or SCRUM. With the planned further education offering, iversity supports Klöckner in getting its staff ready for the digital change.
Deutsche Bahn AG learning online at iversity
Roughly 100 employees from the German railroad operator Deutsche Bahn have taken iversity courses so far. Jakob Hasselgruber is in charge of leadership trainings at Deutsche Bahn. He sums up his colleagues’ reactions as follows: “The digital learning platform gave us an enriching and truly innovative learning experience.” iversity is planning on massively expanding its business partnerships with corporations, explains Hannes Klöpper: “We are currently working on pilot courses with more than 30 German and European companies, representing more than half a million employees in over 100 countries. The interest in our courses is enormous, particularly in multinational corporates.”
Cooperation contract with KPMG closed
iversity and the tax and audit advisory company KPMG have closed a cooperation: Moving forward, the two companies will participate in tenders for digital further education programmes together. The pronounced goal is to jointly conceptualise, produce and realise online courses for company trainings.
The online course Corporate Digital Learning, produced by iversity and with the know-how of KPMG, has been online for one week now. In this freely accessible MOOC, HR experts learn how they can strategically use digital learning formats for professional training within their companies. So far, more than 2,500 participants have enrolled in the course.
Revenues: WHU course “Visual Thinking for Business” a great success
