Hyderabad: Maulana Azad National Urdu University, Centre for Urdu Language, Literature & Culture (CULLC) is organizing Mahfil-e-Dastangoi on 30th August 2016, 6.00 p.m. in DDE Auditorium, University Campus.
According to Chief Consultant, CULLC, “Dastangoi” an old art of storytelling will be performed by renowned artists Poonam Girdhani and Ankit Chadha from Delhi. The Dastangoi will be directed by Mahmood Farooqui and produced by Anusha Rizvi.
This show of the Dastagoi will be telling tales about the Childhood of Amir Hamza and Amar Ayyar an episode from Tilism-e-Hoshruba, regarded as a classic of Urdu Literature.
