Hyderabad: Vignan’s Institute of Information Technology (Autonomous) is organising 2nd International Conference on SMART DSC for three days from December 6 to December 8. The conference was inaugurated on Thursday by Professor Dr. Jason Levy, University of Hawai, USA, Chief Guest, Dr.V.Madhusudhan Rao, Rector and CEO K.Pavan Krishna by lighting the lamp. On this occasion Prof. Levy addressed the conference participants and the students.
He said that cutting edge technologies will help students and faculty members to advance in their career. He highlighted that the data science is emerging as a significant tool for many fields. He also said that Data Scientists and Computer Engineer will get abundant opportunities in the field of Data Science and Smart Technologies. He also highlighted that Smart Technologies cover BIGDATA ANALYTICS, Smart Communications, etc.
Dr.V. Madhusudhan Rao, Rector of the Institute congratulated the department for conducting the conference. He also said that conferences will help students and faculty members to understand latest developments in any field. He highlighted that one can acquire hands on experience through conferences apart from classroom knowledge.
Pavan Krishna, Chief Executive Officer, Vignan Group, Vizag asked students to make use of the platform to learn cutting technologies so that plenty of opportunities can be bagged. Convener of the Conference Ch. Sekhar announced that they receive around 100 papers from different parts of India for the conference. Dr.B.Arundathi, Principal, Dr.Bhattacharyya, Dean-R&D, Dr.B.Prasad, HoD-CSE, Deans and HoDs were present in the event.
