Prof. K.V.G.D.Balaji has been appointed as the new registrar of GITAM Deemed to be University, the sources informed in a press release on Friday. Dr. Balaji, who had served as director, GITAM Research and Development wing, is a senior professor of Civil Engineering and successfully completed about 100 consultancy projects and seven DST and UGC-supported research projects. He presented research papers in national and international conferences held in various countries.

An understanding with CDAC
GITAM, Hyderabad Friday had an understanding with C-DAC to organise Remote workshops for GITAMITES, Internships etc., more particularly to get hands on experience on Cyber Infrastructure building. Dr. V.C.V.Rao, Senior Director, C-DAC visited GITAM, Hyderabad and interacted Heads and students, finally came to conclusion to extent their expertise to GITAM Students.
