Hyderabad: The Met office on Tuesday issued a warning that isolated heavy rain may occur in south coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema on April 24.Its forecast for the next four days said rain or thundershowers will occur at a few places in Rayalaseema. Isolated rain or thundershowers may occur in coastal Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.

On April 24, rain or thundershowers will occur at many places in Rayalaseema and at a few places in coastal AP. Isolated rain or thundershowers may occur in Telangana. The maximum temperatures appreciably fell at one or two places in south coastal Andhra Pradesh, rose at one or two places in Rayalaseema. They were below normal at one or two places in Rayalaseema.

Kadapa and Khammam recorded the highest maximum temperature of 43 degrees Celsius. Dry weather prevailed in coastal AP and Rayalaseema. The maximum temperatures changed slightly in Rayalaseema and coastal AP. They were appreciably below normal at one or two places in Rayalaseema and below normal at one or two places in coastal AP.

The temperatures recorded in AP: Bapatla 35, Kakinada 36, Kalingapatnam 34, Kavali 36, Machilipatnam 36, Nandigama 39, Narsapur 35, Nellore 38, Ongole 36, Jangamaheswarapuram 39, Tuni 38, Vijayawada 39, Visakhapatnam 36, Anantapur 39, Arogyavaram 35, Kadapa 43, Kurnool 41 and Tirupati 37.

In Telangana, rainfall occurred at isolated places on Monday. The maximum temperatures appreciably rose at one or two places in the State. The temperatures recorded were: Adilabad 41, Bhadrachalam 40, Hakimpet 36, Hanamkonda 40, Hyderabad 38, Khammam 43, Mahabubnagar 41, Medak 38, Nalgonda 39, Nizamabad 41 and Ramagundam 41.
