They were appreciably above normal at one or two places across the State. The recordings of maximum temperatures were: Adilabad 43, Hanamkonda 41, Hyderabad 40, Khammam 41, Mahabubnagar 41, Medak 40, Nalgonda 42, Ramagundam 43.

In Andhra Pradesh, the maximum temperatures fell at one or two places in coastal AP and changed slightly in Rayalaseema. They were below normal at one or two places in coastal AP and above normal at one or two places in Rayalaseema.

The highest maximum temperature of 42 degrees Celsius was recorded in Kurnool and Jangamaheswarapuram. The recordings were:Kavali 38, Nandigama 39, Nellore 39,Vijayawada 39, Anantapur 41, Kadapa 41, Tirupati 40. The Met office has forecast thunderstorm with squall at isolated places in Telangana on May 11. Isolated rain or thundershowers may occur in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh during the next four days.
