Monsoon in Telangana, AP set to bring permanent relief from heat

Even though pre-monsoon showers were witnessed across several districts in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, Meteorologists inform that the relief from heat is temporary as the temperatures are all set to climb again.

Rains brought down the temperature in Vijayawada by nearly 7ºC while the maximum temperature recorded was above 45ºC at Jangamaheshwaram in AP and in Telangana - Adilabad and Nizamabad.

Only when monsoon hits both the states, permanent relief can be expected.
