The sky would remain clear throughout the day and the maximum temperature would hover around 36 degrees Celsius, an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.
The humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 60 percent.
Sunday's maximum temperature was recorded at 36.4 degrees Celsius, two notches above the season's average, while the minimum temperature was recorded at 26.6 degrees Celsius, one notch above the average for this time of the season.
