New Delhi: Designer Pria Kataaria Puri to raise money at a charity event in Geneva for under- privileged children in India by showcasing her ensembles at The Heart for India Foundation, a non-profit organisation founded by Princess Francoise Sturdza, and this is the third consecutive year of this charity event.
"I am happy to be associated with this international event and to contribute my share to help the underprivileged children of India. Children are the future of the country and they need to be taken care of if India has to grow and prosper," Puri said in a statement.
Puri is known for her unique luxury pret line in digital prints and for making the Kaftan popular. International socialite Paris Hilton was flaunted by her designs and Princess Francious of Geneva.
The designer's collection at the gala night, to be held at the Four Seasons Hotel is likely to be attended by several elite persons,and will consist of gowns. About 30 per cent of the proceeds of the sale of her ensembles will go towards charity.
