It’s summer. It’s a season when the colours you wear must compliment the sunny weather when you leave home every morning. Isn’t that a great fashion possibility for you?
Here’s what you can do to your nails this summer. Spend a lazy weekend afternoon decking up your nails and stun your colleagues on Monday.
Nails with gradient effect
If you thought a gradient effect is possible only using design softwares like Quark or Photoshop then think again. The dramatic effect has made its way to your nails this season!
A light colour at the bottom of the nail gradually blends into a darker color toward the tip. If you can develop the skill to get this right then you will receive many admiring glances this reason. There are many variations – you can also increase glitter as the colour reaches the tip.
Matte finish
People are getting bored of the glossy ones. When you get bored of those shiny nail paints you can go for the matte effect. Matte is pretty simple yet you can do variation to it by mixing shiny and matte finish.
Opaque yellow
It is the season to be optimistic with yellow. However, choose a shade of yellow that is trifle faded. Vibrant yellows are out. It’s the yellow shade you find on chickpea flour, not the bright yellow of daffodils.
Back to red
Red is a pretty flashy colour and not many people can carry it off well. It’s time to go classic with a red shade this season. Take care to stick to deeper shades of red.
Jewelled nails
Keep the bling minimalistic and keep it symmetric. The symmetry can make a quite a statement if it’s done well. Stones are in vogue this season. All you need to do is pick up glittery stones down a fashion street and place them on your nails while the nails are still tad-bit wet. Make sure if forms a pattern!
Reverse Half Moon
Apply a reserve half moon to the bottom of your nail. You can choose to colour the rest of the nail with another colour or leave it nude. Do it for the sheer uniqueness of it!
